• First Prize: William Lane Mitchell - St David’s
William wrote a review on the book, George’s Marvelous Medicine. Here is his review:

“This book is about a boy called George and he lives all alone with his grandmother. She is the most horrid, grizzly old grunion of a grandmother ever. George's grandmother always takes medicine, but George thinks she needs something stronger than her usual medicine to cure her grouchiness, but George doesn’t just want to cure her grouchiness, he wants to cure EVERYTHING, and George knows exactly what to put in the medicine. His grandmother is in for the surprise of her life and so is George, when he sees the result of his mixture.”

Jack Frost is holding a big party on the same day as the king and queen’s 1000th jubilee. And the goblins need the magic party bags to put a sparkle into their party instead of the king and queen’s party. Grace gets her party bag in the end.”
